The ART ECONOMY (ARTECON for short) is a cooperative of professional (artist) partners in both Australia and The Netherlands. By purchasing our (high-end) art supplies from (for example) Sennelier, Schmincke and Talens via more direct (generally cheaper) channels our costs are substantially lower. This means better prices for you.

Products Not in Stock:  Note that we can order each and every product from the Royal Talens (Netherlands), Sennelier (France) and Schmincke (Germany). If the product you're after is not (yet) in our online store, then please give us a call on 0439565468 or send us a message and we will give you a price and (if you're ok) we'll order it for you.

We receive new art supplies about every month from manufacturers in Germany, Netherlands and France. Shipment from Europe takes an average of three weeks to arrive in our Melbourne office. Once received they will be posted out to you in one or two business days.

Products Generally in Stock: The complete range of Rembrandt individual Soft Pastels as well as Amsterdam Acrylics (both Standard and Expert Series) with all Amsterdam Auxiliaries (mediums, modelling pastes and varnishes) are generally directly available from stock.
