ARTECON was formed early 2012 from within a group of soft pastel artists in the Yarra Valley (Victoria, Australia).

The main objective of ARTECON is to promote and make art accessible for everyone at the lowest possible cost. We do this by forgetting about how business was done in the past. We don't have large warehouses with expensive stock and we only sell online. This means not only lower costs but also complete availability of the manufacturer's products and the latest versions of products. Please note that some of our products will be send from overseas once ordered. For last mentioned products it takes about three to four weeks to arrive in our Australian office as combined order batches and get ready for sending to our customers via domestic postal services.

If you want to see the physical product(s) first and/or need your product(s) within a couple of days then traditional retail will most likely be a better option if you can justify the price difference. However if you know what you are after and you can wait a little then ARTECON is generally the cheapest option.
