The complete assortment of Schmincke Soft Pastels includes 400 colours. They are classified in 75 rows with 5 colours (see also colour card), each of them available as a pure color (D), and gradations with Black (B) and White (H, M, O):

• B - Black gradation with a color.
• D - Pure color, no added black or white.
• H - White gradation with a color.
• M - Gradation with more white.
• O - Gradation with still more white.

The complete Schmincke Soft Pastel range includes 10 Neutral Greys (Colour 098 with gradations D, F, G, H, J, K, L, M, N, O), a range of 10 special colours and 5 pearl lustre effect colours.
